If you are in the golden age of ovulation, or are considering ovulation surgery, Dr. Zhang recommends to make an appointment with a doctor 2-3 months before ovulation to check your physical condition and hormonal index. If the doctor determines that it is suitable for egg extraction, ladies must go through the following 4 steps of egg extraction:



1) See the doctor on the second day of menstruation for blood and ultrasound examination to find out whether the ovarian status is suitable for starting the course of treatment
2) For the next 10-12 days, ovulation injections will be given every day to stimulate the growth of follicles until the eggs mature
3) When the ovum is mature, it needs to be injected with an egg breaking needle, and the ovum extraction will be performed about 36 hours later
4) Ovum extraction is carried out under monitored anesthesia, and the whole operation process takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour
